Like notches on a bed post...

After Bathurst we can add to the list of crowned champions! Legends In true "legend fashion" these guys were up early and put the competition to bed with one round to spare. Americas Legends is once again in the hands of Bryan Barns as he opens a 650 point lead on Wayne Hutchison who is seeking to secure his highest finish in any championship. Micael Hagstrom has claimed the European Legends with consistent performances all year and Harald Stadler has won his duel with Daniel Stevens by virtue of having a massive 320 point drop in hand for the final round. Sportsman Steven Williams joins Mark Stevenson and Sam T Harper as a Sportsman Champ as he takes the International title after a hard

Tough as Iron...

Through 12 rounds we still have 51 Iron Men standing strong. The list includes; Pros and Sportsmen, young guns and legends, series rookies and series veterans. The differences in these drivers are immense, but it is their attitude that makes them the same. Two more rounds to to qualify for the Iron Warrior Demo derby on December 12th. Looking at this list got me to thinking about who has earned the Iron Man award before, who has the most starts all time in our series and more. In almost 7 full YEARS the Majors has run 91 regular season races. The 31 men on the list below have all run at least 50 of those races. The names on this list are Majors Series legends, people who have stuck with and

We Want You!

In what is probably an obvious statement, the Majors Series takes a serious amount of time and effort to run. To say that I could not do this without the help of the competition committee and many others is 100% accurate. That said, I still tend to stretch myself and the team pretty thin, soo... WE WANT YOU! Available Roles Competition Committee As always we are looking for good folks to help on the competition committee, in this role, you get a say in how the rules are written, how the schedule is built and you "get to" help rule on protests. Live Admins One of the most common requests we get is for "live admins". Now, my excuse has always been that we have too many splits to reasonably acc

And your point is????

We find ourselves in the twilight of our 7th year as the 2020 season has just two rounds to go; Bathurst and Autoclub. How do things stand? You know... with points and schtuff. While Christian did indeed wrap up his championship early, he is not the only one to "stink up the show" this year. Sportsman division titles in both Americas and Europe have been decided and decisively with Mark Stevenson and Sam T Harper winning them respectively. Mark with eight wins has been the class of the field and has maintained a commanding lead for much of the year, this first year driver has not only excelled on the driving side, but has also built a championship caliber team and in fact Forge Gold is on th

2nd Time is Charmed...

Let's take a trip down memory lane shall we? Below you can see all the Mario Andretti Champions since our inception in 2014. Notice anything strange? Ding, ding, ding you are correct... nobody is pictured more than once. No champion has hoisted the trophy a second time... UNTIL NOW! Congratulations to Christian Challiner for securing the Americas Region Pro Championship (with two rounds to spare no less). In 2018 Christian fought Blake Reynolds tooth and nail all year, and despite racking up the most wins, he would fall just short of the title. In 2019 he moved to the European Region and dominated thoroughly securing his first series championship. For this year, he opted to return to the Ame
